To many people in bridal party?

I'm getting married November of '06 and we already have a pretty good idea about who we want in our bridal party, though we havent asked them yet. I was just wondering if you thought we had to many people. Our wedding will be a formal wedding with about 275-300 guests. We were going to have 1 maid of honor and 1 best man, 7 bridesmaids and 7 Ushers, 2 Junior bridesmaids and 2 junior ushers (all 10 and under), and the flower girl and ring bearer totaling to 11 couples. I know it sounds like a lot of people but would it be to many considering there are 3 couples that are children? I can't see leaving anyone out because they are all very close to us and him and I come from a very large family. What do you think?

Dear Large Bridal Party:

There isn't a magic number for how many people should be in a bridal party. That's a personal choice influenced by who is important to you, as well as what you can afford to do. Keep in mind that each person you add does impact your wedding cost in some way.
