     Uneven number of wedding attendants

I am thinking of having 6 bridesmaids and my fiancee wants to have 5 groomsmen (we have a thing for he number 13) but my mother thinks that it is weird to have an unven number of wedding attendants. What do you think?

You certainly can have an uneven number of attendants, however, keep the formality of the event in mind. Typically, more than 6 attendants is reserved for semi-formal and formal weddings.
