I just found out my bridesmaid is pregnant. She doesn't know that I know yet. The problem is she is due around my wedding so she won't be able to attend. Her husband is groomsman so that rules him out too.
She has avoided dress shopping for weeks now, so that made me realize she was pregnant. It's upsetting as she has let me go and book things for her and name them as witnesses on my paperwork and kept quiet. I think she is going to tell me this weekend and I don't know what to say. I am obviously thrilled for them both, but so upset that they won't be there on the day

Dear Stressed,
She must be stressed as well. She may be worried about you, the baby, her husband and their relationship, as it does often change when a baby arrives, and everything else in between. So it may be best to inform her that you know.
Marriage is a big life event. But, having a baby is even more so. Hopefully you two can have a thoughtful discussion very soon.
