     Where to host bridal shower

I am the bride and my bridesmaids are throwing me a shower. MOH is a friend, and other 2 bridesmaids are a cousin and soon to be sister in law. The sister in law initially got things going with the shower, but wants to host the shower at her house in order to cook the food (she is a chef). The MOB and cousin bridesmaid want the shower in a town closer to MOB's hometown, so that grandparents are able to attend. The wedding is not going to be in parents hometown or brides, its a compromise about 1 and 1/2 hours away for each. Where is the proper place to throw the shower?

Dear Bride,

The proper place is where the host wishes to host it. Mothers are not to be involved. Her homes seems very appropriate to me. Perhaps someone will be able to drive for the grandmothers.

Best wishes,
