     dont have a maid of honor  

I have a full bridal party of friends, one sister that i really dont speak to and another that could be matron of honor. do i need make my other sister my maid of honor even though we really dont talk? could i just have a matron of honor or no maid of honor at all and just all bridesmaids even though that wouldnt be even b/c the groom will have a best man? pls help!!

Dear S2B:

Whether you you should have both your sisters in your wedding is a personal choice you must make. There is no rule that says you must ask both of them to participate although doing so will promote family togetherness. You should also consider whether selecting only one sister will cause long term hurt feelings for the other.

As for the Groom's attendants, you don't have to match his numbers. You can have more Groomsmen than Bridesmaids.
