bride and bridesmaids live in different states

I recently moved to Maine to finish up my masters degree and will be here for the next year and a half. My fiance and I plan on getting married the summer of '07. The problem is my bridesmaids are in different states. I see them maybe once or twice a year. Any idea how we can plan the wedding when we are so far apart? Please Help!!!Unsure

Dear Engaged in Maine,

Many are going through exactly what you are going through. The only thing I hear of that seems to work communicating with lots of emails. So hopefully everyone will answer their emails promptly.

Best wishes,

Ditto. And, I'd add to that sending lots of photos to each other. Make sure all of you have emails that are capable of sending and receiving emails with attachments large enough for the photos. If I have to estimate, I'd say you'd need an email address that has at least a 10 mb capability in order to send photos. Between emails and photos, it'll make the distance planning a lot easier and much more fun!

Cheers!

Get yourself a wedding website so that you can post all of your details. Some even have a place to chat.
