bridesmaid asked and then kicked out of wedding party
Do you think someone who was asked by their brother's fiance to be a bridesmaid and then later told they decided they would ask someone else should attend the wedding?

In my opinion, yes, I absolutely think you should attend your brother's wedding. I do think is was unkind of this bride to rescind her invitation, but, that should be her burden, not yours. If you really love your brother, don't make waves. Be the bigger person and don't stoop to her level. Attend with your head held high, enjoy yourself and move on with family life.
PS - Maybe consider that you've been spared the expense of being a member of a bridal party and possibly the purchase of a bridesmaid's dress most bridesmaids never wear again or even like. Top Wedding Questions Forum Moderator - "Write your sorrows in the sand, your blessings in stone".

I completely agree. If it helps to consider it your brother's wedding and not hers, then hang on to that, and give your brother the gift of your support at his wedding. The consequences of not attending are more than you probably want to face if you love him. Shayna Walker, Williamsburg Wedding Design http://www.williamsburgweddingdesign.com

Great advice and I couldn't agree more. Wear your biggest smile and not that dress you would want to burn. Rebecca Black, Etiquette Now
