One of my oldest friends also happens to be an ex. Is it inappropriate to ask a former lover turned best friend to be in a wedding party? It wouldn't be weird. We've been friends 20 times longer than we dated. And it is one of those friendships that is there for the good times, the bad times, and the downright horrible times. I'd really like someone else's take on this.

The like each other just fine and relate well to one another. Though I glossed over the intimacy shared with that boyfriend since it was before I even met my fiance.
