I am a pre med college student I have a full time job to pay for my education and everything i do save is meant for med school. My cousin asked me to be her made of honor a month before her wedding i had no idea all of the stuff she is asking me to do and pay for in such little time. I am paying for my hair, makeup, dress and shoes and other accessoriesshe wants me to have. She wants me to host a bridal shower for her and a bachlorette party. She keeps telling me where to book hotels and stuff for her and all of her friends. She just sent out her wedding invitations and the wedding is in two weeks. I tried explaining that I really couldn't afford any of this and asked if other bridesmaids could pitch in but she wont ask them and I dont know them so I have no ones number or email. I think her planning is really rushed and her expectations to high. She has been throwing insults at me and if I say something she says she was only joking. I am so overwhelmed by school and her constant calling and complaining. I really want to be nice to her and support her but she is making everything very money oriented and I just cant do it. I have tuition and bills, I just cant afford her wedding. The fact that there is no time to do anything is not helping either. Can I tell her to let someone else be her maid of honor. i am honestly losing my mind and soon my money, which means my education. I do not know what to do and i am starting to get very upset with her.
