maid of honor leaving reception to attend another wedding
Is it wrong that my MOH is leaving my reception early (like right after dinner early) to attend the wedding of someone elses? Added to that, she does not even know the bride and only knows the groom because her husband went to school with him and does not have much contact anymore.

Dear Misma,
It would be best if she was in attendance during the entire reception, which is what is expected. But, these things do come up. Perhaps it would be best to discuss this with her while trying to see her side. There may be more to this than appears on the surface. She must be a good friend for you to ask her to stand as your MOH. So, she is worth spending time with to privately discuss this.
