I have a matron and a maid of honor who walks first in the processional?

I'm not sure on this so I'm hoping the others will respond if I'm wrong, but I would say the Matron of honor would go first out of respect for her "Matron" position.

Dear Matron and Maid,

That is a tough one because there is no 'set rule'. Both could walk together, or the one who has the most duties walks directly before the bride. She would be in the honored position. It is your choice.

Congratulations!

Thanks. My matron of honor has done most of the work mostly due to the fact that she's been through this before. But my maid of honor is the only single woman in the wedding party. How do I make her stand out (other than mentioning it in the program. I want her to be recognized as an honor attendant also. Any suggestions would be welcome.

Just a thought, but could both of them have one special flower that is different than the rest of your bridesmaids? That would make them stand out amoung the rest.

Just a thought.
