     no bridal party clarification

Hello, I've read through the threads and need a bit of clarification. While it is ok to not have a bridal party, we will still need witnesses? Is this correct? Are the wedding guests considered witnesses? Also: I may ask a friend to be a 'personal attendant' but not MOH? I feel a bit strange asking her to help me on the day, or even in planning, if I'm not going to give her the title. I'm still torn on what to do. Crazy

Any two people would be sufficient as witnesses. Traditionally those two are the best man and maid/matron of honor.

If you want this friend to help, why don't you want to call her MOH? I'm sure she'll do this for you either way.
