should my bridesmaid get her own invitation?

One of my bridesmaids is my fiance's sister. She is 20 years old and lives at home with her parents. Although she is not dating anyone currently, I read that it is proper etiquette to allow your bridal party bring a guest regardless. I would like to extend the invitation for her to bring a date if she wishes. Should I then send a separate invitation to her?

You are not obligated to invite your future sister in law to bring a guest unless she is in a committed relationship, but it is a nice gesture if you can.

Since she is an adult, she should receive her own invitation, regardless of whether you invite her to bring along a guest.
