One of my bridesmaids is my fiance's sister. She is 20 years old and lives at home with her parents. Although she is not dating anyone currently, I read that it is proper etiquette to allow your bridal party bring a guest regardless. I would like to extend the invitation for her to bring a date if she wishes. Should I then send a separate invitation to her?

Re: [scm5433] should my bridesmaid get her own invitation?

You are not obligated to invite your future sister in law to bring a guest unless she is in a committed relationship, but it is a nice gesture if you can.
Since she is an adult, she should receive her own invitation, regardless of whether you invite her to bring along a guest. Top Wedding Questions Forum Moderator - "Write your sorrows in the sand, your blessings in stone".
