wedding party lodging

I am getting married and I have a lot of bridesmaids. Several of the girls live out of town. Am I responsible for paying for their hotel rooms for the weekend? I have been in several of their weddings in the past and none of them have provided hotel rooms...I just don't want to have bad etiquette:)

Dear Albride,

You are responsible for their lodging, but this could be in someone's home. It doesn't have to be a hotel.
