10 and 12 year old boys as ring bearers

Is 10 years old too old for a ring bearer? If it isn't, he has a 12 year old brother. What role could he play? They are the youngest cousins; no other cousins will be in the wedding but am hesitant to just ask the youngest one. Any advice?

Thanks.

Both are beyond the age for ringbearers so why not consider using them as Junior Ushers?
