     2-year old ring bearer?

My fiance and I want his almost 2-year-old godson to be our ringbearer. I know it sounds crazy, but he is the oldest child among our family and friends, and it would be meaningful to the family. I know small kids are unpredictable and all, but any advice on how to make this easier? Thanks!!

Yes, it is true that younger children are very unpredictable. And, especially at the tender age of two. I would suggest that you have a plan b and that would be if the toddler gets scared, decides that he doesn't want to walk down the aisle, or my favorite, needs a nap, then simply keep the ceremony going.

Cheers!

I totally agree and would like to add, no real rings. If he's using a bearers pillow put fake rings on it for him. He could do very well and then again he may not move at all. Be aware and accept whatever happens as a part of your day and your memory.

Perhaps he could be pulled in a wagon or pushed in a stroller by an older family member or friend?
