     Junior Bridesmaid Duties

Hi. I was just asked to be a junior bridesmaid in my cousins wedding. Smile I was just wondering whether there were any specific duties that I had to do. I am partnered with another junior bridesmaid, and we are both teenagers . Will I have to contribute to and help plan the shower, just like to other bridesmaids? Please help because I am very unsure of what I am supposed to be doing. Crazy

Dear Miletro,

Actually teenagers are older than the traditional junior bridesmaid role, it's actually 8-12. However, your duties as junior bridesmaid are primarily on the wedding day to perform in the ceremony and receiving line. It is not really your duty to plan the shower but you can participate in it and any wedding parties such as the rehearsal dinner if invited.
