     Niece in the Wedding

My wedding is on May 28th and hopefully, weather permitting, I will be able to have it outdoors.

I have a 10 year old Niece that I MAY want to have participate in the ceremony. She is too old to be a flower girl, and too young and immature to be a Jr. Bridesmaid. I am not very close with her or her father (my brother), but she is the only "child" that I really know.

I was thinking about having her hand out the programs to the guests along with these small pouches of rice that I was going to make for the guests to toss at us after the ceremony ends.

If I have her do this, how would I list her on the program? Would this be considered an Usher?

Thank you for your help...

Dear Killerbee,

She could be called "hostess".
