Only one of a set of twins asked to be flower girl
I have twin girls who will be 3.5 next May and only one has been asked to be a flower girl. My husband is also the Best Man. My husband thinks we won't have any problems, but I am the one that will have to chase them around all day and night.
I really don't want to bring the girls to the wedding; I think they are too young.
Would it be rude to ask the groom and bride if both girls could be flower girls, afterall we are paying for the dress. Child 1 (the flower girl) is very hesitant around crowds at least now (things could change). Child 2 will be very upset she can't be up front with daddy and she will also be very upset her sister is not around. They definitly have that twin bond (they want to be together).

I understand wanting to keep the girls together. I would decline the invitation completely since typically the flower girls would attend the reception too. If you feel they are too young then explain that to the bride, get a sitter and enjoy your night off. I agree. Declining the invitation is the only appropriate response. Asking to have both girls in the wedding is an imposition, and could make the situation worse. Shayna Walker, Williamsburg Wedding Design http://www.williamsburgweddingdesign.com
