Might seem small to another, but to me it's looming larger... My second, his third. We have 4 children (girls 18 and 14, boys 15 and 10). We are getting married on a June Thursday evening, on (in?) a pagoda overlooking the beach. 50 guests.
I am wearing a lovely, floor length, champagne-beige, chiffon evening gown with sequins. My fiance is looking at a fab linen suit. Girls? Boys? It will be hard to fit the 10 yr old boy in a suit. Could the girls each wear a lovely, fancy pale dress of their choice, and the boys could wear dress khakis, white shirt and tie? Must they all match and coordinate since it IS sort of a wedding. Will they be too casual?
I, for one, appreciate the "etiquette" advice you offer. I'm out of my league here and trying to keep kids, fiance, and guests comfortable.
Thanks

The girls would look great in butter yellow or champagne dresses; chiffon would look gret on them. The boys would look fantastic in the outfit you have in mind: khakis and white shirts. Make them wear a tropical-theme ties with background color to correspond with the girls' dresses, and you will get great color combination for you photos! Enjoy your wedding!
