age of flower girls and jr. bridesmaid

Can an 11 year old girl be a flower girl instead of Jr. bridesmaid? What is the difference? Also do 12 year old and under come to rehearsal dinner?

The typical age range for a flower girl is 4 - 8 years and a junior bridesmaid is usually between 8 - 14. If your girl is small and a a little less mature she could be considered for the flowergirl role. If she's big for her age and more mature looking and acting then I suggest she be selected as a junior bridesmaid.

The rehearsal dinner is for anyone who is involved in the rehearsal which would include the flower girl, junior bridesmaids and ring bearer. For really young children, consult their parents since they may need to be in bed to get rested for their "performance"! The parents of young children should be invited.
