     No tux for groom

My fiancee does not want to wear a tux to our wedding and I am fine with that. This is my 2nd marriage but my 1st wedding; his 1st marriage.

I am wearing an ivory dress, lace no train. He is wearing a black suit. I assume he should wear an ivory shirt, as well as the best man and groomsman. What color ties should they wear?

Dear No Tux,

What you didn't mention was the color of the bridesmaid's attire? If you can match that up that's great, if not, most definitely a dark tie would be called for.
