Remove Army cap for kiss during the wedding ceremony

My future son in law will wear his Army Class A's (green) for an October outdoor wedding (not an official military wedding). When he kisses the bride, does he remove his cap?

Dear 2020 Gal,

I feel that he should remove his cap for the entire event. But, it is optional.

Best wishes,
