     Tux or suit for the groom?  

What is the proper way to dress for a groom to be? is a formal black suit proper to wear? I dont like tuxs so I thought a modern formal black suit would be proper, what do you think?

Please tell us where and when your wedding will be held and what the bride and bridal party will be wearing. We'll need to kow the formality of the event beofre providing an answer.
