     Brothers of the Bride

Hi! My fiance and I are stuggling with how to include my two older brothers in the wedding party. Would it be inappropriate for only one of my brother's to be a groomsman while the other is an usher?

Dear Bride-to-be:

My recommendation is to have both of your brothers as Groomsmen, even if it means the groomsmen may out number the bridesmaids. By the way, the numbers do not have to match equally on both sides. The main reason for this suggestion is because a Groomsman is actually involved in the wedding while an Usher is mainly tending to the wedding party and guests at the wedding. Simply put, based on your idea, one brother will be in the wedding, the other will be at the wedding.

If at all possible, put them both in the same roles, either as groomsmen or ushers.
