My fiancé and I originally wanted four bridesmaids including the maid of honor, and four groomsmen including the best man. One of my groomsmen dropped out and now I have two guys that I want to include. One is my brother-in-law, which I have taken in as my brother since I do not have any, and the other is a friend who I have grown real close to in the past few years. I would like to have both of them, but it will make it uneven. I have read that it does not matter on how many attendants we have, but I wanted to know how we should have them walk in the processional. My fiancé really wants an even number, but the caring woman she is, she told me that it does not matter as long as I am happy. I want her to be happy as well. Is it okay to be happy and have her a little down on this matter? Or should I just pick one? Also what order should they walk and stand?
Thanks

No rule says there must be an equal number of BM to GM. It is about who is close to you. That is what is important. If you don't have an equal number of participants, it is okay to feel fine with this.
Couples usually have their attendants walk paired, or single file in the processional and recessional. I recommend having them walk single file since all cannot be paired up.
