     Rehearsal Dinner

My best friend is getting married in Chicago. I now live in Arizona and am married. My wife and I are going to the wedding where I am in the wedding party however my wife is not. Both the groom and bride have met my wife and she has met most of my childhood friends. Would it be appropriate for me to bring my wife to the rehearsal dinner???

Thanks,

Mkor

Dear MKOR:

The guest list for a rehearsal dinner normally does include the wedding party and their spouses. Bringing your wife is appropriate.

This is true. But, please make sure that she is invited first. Some people may not realize that she should be invited. The host sets the guests list and we follow it.

Please ask your friends first.
