I'm having 2 ushers for my wedding. I would like them to wear tuxes but I also would like to differentiate them from the groomsmen. What suggestions do you have? The groomsmen will be wearing black tuxes with a white shirt and red vest. The only color that I'm really having in the wedding is Red.

Dear Becky:

Ushers don't dress differently than that of the groomsmen. They are still part of the wedding. If the groomsmen are in tuxedos, white shirts and red vests, then the ushers need to be in tuxedos, white shirts and red vests.

From an etiquette point of view, I completely agree.

Dear Becky,

Since the groomsmen and groom are wearing red vests, maybe change up the ties, the groom in all red, and the groomsmen with black ties and red vests.
