     Ushers vs. Groomsmen

Hi Everyone. Ok, now this may be a silly question but what is the difference between the Ushers and Groomsmen? Is this a one person-2 role position or are there different people for all positions? Please help. Thank you!Blush

By traditional definition, ushers are not members of the wedding party. An usher’s primary responsibility is on the day of the wedding, escorting guests to their seats before the ceremony.

The role of the groomsmen are to stand with the bride and groom at the ceremony and support the groom throughout the planning process as well as on the big day.
