My fiance recently had a falling out with one of his groomsmen and decided to replace him with a female friend of his. The bridesmaid dresses have long been ordered and shipped and are no longer available. What should she wear? I would assume the same color dress(black) but should it be the same style etc.

She is is not called a female groomsman but rather an "Honor Attendant" and she would be dressed like the other female attendants in the wedding.

And, just to clarify what I mean by dressing like the other female attendants, if dressing in black makes her dressed like the other bridesmaids, if only in color since she can no longer get the same dress, then that will work.
