Who should I pick as best man for my wedding?

I am having a problem picking the best man for my wedding. I am having my two younger brothers, a good friend, and the bride's brother as groomsmen. I would like to have either my brother (22) or the friend be bestman. But, I don't want to hurt either one or my younger brothers' (16) feelings. Any suggestions or alternatives to this?

This is a very personal decision and one not governed by etiquette. So, any advice you receive on this question is just an opinion. Only you can make the choice. Choose the person with whom you feel closest. The others will know you love them just because you invited them to be groomsmen. They should understand that you can only choose one and typically, if choosing between brothers, grooms choose the eldest. Especially since your other brothers are under age and might not be able to perform a lot of the duties usually done by the best man. But, the best choice is still the person with whom you have the strongest bond.
