     Woman as Best Man

My FH's best man is being deployed to iraq and wont be able to attend our wedding, we want to know if it is ok if the best mans twin sister to stand in as best man (she is also very close to my husband i.e. family)? My family is more traditional so any and all examples would be a great help. Thanks

Dear Sara,

Of course it is fine. Gender is not an issue these days.

Best wishes,

Absolutely. Just refer to her as his "honor attendant". It's becoming quite common.
