     boutonniere alternative?

the groomsmen in my wedding will be wearing longsleeved linen shirts and nice pants, but no jacket. (it's on a farm, in hot august, pretty casual.) my fiance is wearing a linen suit, he can wear a boutenniere. my dad is wearing a lightweight suit, so he can also wear a boutenniere. it doesn't feel right to have the groomsmen without boutennieres but they can't put them on a linen shirt can they? are there any alternatives? (besides a lei, that doesn't fit w/ my theme at all.)

(please don't reply if you're a tuxedo sales rep-- the attire decision has already been made. thanks.)
