     brothers-in-law

My fiancee has picked her 6 bridesmaids for our wedding and keeps asking me who i am going to have as my groomsmen. The problem is she has 4 brothers that she wants me to include, but i have 2 brother myself and 3-4 really close friends that i have known for the last 15 years one being the best man that i would like to include. i keep saying that i would have 1 or maybe 2 of her brothers be groomsmen but she thinks that the others would be hurt and want them all to be in bridal party, and i also do not want to have 9 or 10 people compared to her 6.

any advice you could give me would be greatly appreciated

Dear Brother Delimma,

Deciding between her brothers would be difficult and choosing all would give you too many, not that the sides have to be equal. Perhaps her brothers could be ushers who only seat guests. They would be viewed as groomsmen, but don't have to walk down the aisle.

Best wishes,
