how much to spend on groomsmen gifts

Is there a certain dollar amount to spend on groomsmen? Is it equal to the cost of the tuxedo rental per attendant? My fiance and I are paying for the entire wedding/reception as it is and would like to have some direction with this so we can budget accordingly. I am spending $100.00 each for my 2 bridesmaids and a bit more for my matron of honor (my only sister).Blush

There isn't a certain dollar amount you must go by to purchase your attendants' gifts. Therefore, spending as much on the groomsmen as what they are spending on their tuxedos isn't an issue. That means you could spend $10.00 or $100 per gift.

However, instead of dollar amount, you should focus more on what you, and/or your Fiance, want the gifts to mean to your attendants. Spend what you feel is comfortable based on your budget.

I completely agree. There is no dollar amount that is considered appropriate. The gifts should reflect your sentiments.
