     Bridal Shower Gifts

I'm a bridesmaid in a wedding, and am curious about what sort of gift to bring to the bridal shower. I bought two towels and a blanket off the registry (which was all I could afford of what remained) but am concerned that they might seem boring or too practical and that I should have bought something more personal and individualized, although she did register for these items. Is it common to give registry gifts (no matter how domestic) for a bridal shower? Help!Unsure

Your gift is appropriate and very generous. Typically the bridal shower gift is less expensive then a wedding gift. And, yes, many guests do purchase off the registry but it isn't mandatory. Choosing a gift you know the bride will appreciate is fine.

Enjoy the shower and wedding.
