Bridal shower for destination wedding with no guests
My fiance are getting married - just the two of us - in Jamaica. It is a second marriage for the both of us. Neither of us had a HUGE ceremony the first time and initially we were going to do it up right this time. But, the expense is outrageous (huge, close family).
We do not anticipate having a reception after returning. We are both returning to college to finish our education and the expense of even a simple reception seems unnecessary.
My sister thinks a shower of some sort is in order. A couples shower. Is that ok?

As we have said in many previous posts, if there are no wedding guests then there should be no shower, sorry. Top Wedding Questions Forum Moderator - "Write your sorrows in the sand, your blessings in stone".

I completely agree. It may be best to read some of these posts. There is quite a lot of etiquette to consider with bridal showers. Rebecca Black, Etiquette Now
