My brother is getting married in Mexico (Destination Wedding) in May of this year. At the end of January, myself (bridesmaid) and the other attendants as well as both mothers started chatting about a shower for the bride. Now we are quickly approaching the wedding date, have not heard any responses from the other bridesmaids and have been told by the bride that myself and my mother (grooms family) are not welcome to join in the planning of the shower that it will be hosted by the MOH and mother of the bride. However, the bride and groom are insisting one shower only to be for both families. How do we handle this situation? We feel hurt and excluded and she is marrying my brother!!
