I'm standing up in a wedding this June and the bridal shower was already held in April. Now the maid of honor wants to host a couples shower and, of course, I'll be expected to attend. Do I have have to purchase another shower gift?

No you are only expected to purchase one shower gift. Perhaps it might be best to ask the MOH to read about what is proper so she plans her shower according to what is considered appropriate. With two gift giving showers, it is even more important the couple doesn't appear to be gift crazy. Rebecca Black, Etiquette Now
