I'm planning an all female bridal shower, and a friend of the bride asked to purchase the cake for the shower at the last minute.
The style of the cake is very nice; however, she ordered it with the bride's upcoming last name on it. So the cake will be monogrammed with "Bride's First Initial", "Groom's Last Name Initial", "Bride's Last Name Initial".
Is it proper etiquette to do this when the bride is not yet married?
Thanks in advance!

Dear Bridalfriend,
The shower is supposed to be all about fun. So, this seems to be a very sweet way of reminding everyone what is coming soon--the wedding and the joining of these two.
