How many time can you invite the same person to multiple showers
A honey-do shower has been given for the groom and several family members, such as aunts, uncles, cousins and friends were invited. Can you invite the same guests to the bridal shower given to the bride?

Dear Slhenry,
I haven't a clue what a "honey-do shower" is. There really is no such thing. And, if this means that a shower was requested, it isn't polite or proper.
No. The only people who should be expected to attend and be invited to more than one shower are the mothers and attendants. After all, these guests are giving extra wedding gifts already. Should they really be expected to give more? Please read our many posts concerning bridal shower etiquette. All of this information is written in etiquette books as well.
Hopefully no more than 2 showers are being hosted and all guests are also invited to the wedding. These should be small, intimate parties that are hosted by someone other than family as well.

A "Honey Do Shower", is a shower that is given to the Groom, for honey do's around the house. Gifts can be, tools, gardening tools, cookware, etc.
Thank you for your response.

I've heard of this shower, although it's usually given for the bride or the bride and groom as a couple's shower. I haven't heard of a shower for the groom alone. Top Wedding Questions Forum Moderator - "Write your sorrows in the sand, your blessings in stone".
