     MOH Throwing a Friends Shower

I'm having a shower for my friend and I'm the MOH. We decided that I should just have one for us and our friends and that her mom would take care of one with the family and such. Do I still invite her mom and sisters? Her sisters are also in the wedding party. It's just going to be her and I with four other of our close friends. What should I do?Crazy Thanks!

Dear Lindsdyer,

We have very, very many posts about this. It really isn't your problem that the mother isn't supposed to host a shower, but she shouldn't for posted reasons. But, if you still want to host a shower, which is optional, you would be inviting close family such as the mother. The sisters would be invited because they are also attendants.

Please try to discuss this with the bride. It is a problem.

Best wishes,
