My wonderful bridesmaids are throwing me a family and friends shower. How should we handle family members that live out of town? Should they receive an invitation? I want them to know that they are welcome but I don't want them to feel obligated to come or send a gift. Would it be appropriate to send a note with the invitation? If so, what should it say?
