What type of shower would you throw for a bride (or couple) that has been together for 3 years? The couple has a completely furnished home with everything that normal shower gifts would include from kitchen to bath to bed and beyond. The bride to be has also been married once before and the couple has been in their home for almost 3 yrs. Any ideas or advice on theme, gifts, etc would be helpful.

First consider the personalities of the couple and choose your theme to reflect their style and preferences. Here are a few suggestions for bridal shower themes for a couple who's been living together a while or for a second wedding.
Lingerie Guests bring a gift of lingerie for the bride! After three years of living together it might be nice to "spice it up" a bit!
Pamper the Bride Guests to bring items suited to the purpose, such as bath products, gift certificates to a spa or salon, and yoga lessons.
Stock the Bar Guests bring gifts of liquor, glasses, etc. to help the couple stock their bar.
Stock the Pantry Have each guest write their favorite recipe on a recipe card and bring the card along with all non-perishable ingredients for the recipe in a box or gift basket. Provide a personalized recipre folder, book or organizer as a special gift from the bridal party. Top Wedding Questions Forum Moderator - "Write your sorrows in the sand, your blessings in stone".

Since they have an established household, another idea would be for the guests to contribute toward a second honeymoon for the couple. Check Travelocity (www.Travelocity.com) for excellent rates and packages. This would be a great chance to get away for the couple that has 'everything'. Good luck!
