Using bridal shower gift of money for wedding expenses.
My daughter received several large gifts of money from close family and friends who could not attend the shower. She wants to use this money to pay for wedding expenses rather than actually buying gifts. Is this appropriate?

She should not spend any of the money until after the wedding and then she can spend it any way she wishes.
