Who should host bridal shower?

I am maid of honor for an upcoming wedding. The bride also has a matron of honor. There are no bridesmaids. I live in different state than the bride and matron of honor. The wedding will be held in their state. Who should host the shower?

Any advice would be great!! Thank you!!!

Showers are optional, so, no one has to host one. Have a discussion with the other bridesmaid to see what her thoughts are on the subject.
