     addressing brunch invitations

I am hosting a small pre-wedding brunch for a friend, (15 max) I made my own invitations and bought matching envelopes. As I am handwriting the return address shouldn't it be placed on the back flap of the envelope as opposed to the front? Also, should I include my name above the return address?

You will follow the post office rules for return address which, in the US, is name and address in upper left corner.
