     bridal shower invitation wording  

Do I include the groom's name on the shower invitation? Also, the shower is planned from 1-4 and a light lunch is being served - I wanted to indicate this on the invitation - is that ok?

Dear Hosting,

You would mention the honored guest. If he will be in attendance, mention his name.

Your invitations can be very personalized. These do not have to be as formal as wedding invitations. Mentioning the lunch is fine.
