I'm going to one of my best friend's shower which was organized by the maid of honr & matron of honor. I am also one of her bridesmaids at the wedding itself. They did not have any registry for her shower and this is going to be my first shower so i really have no idea what kind of gifts people give at a shower. Can you please help me figure out what i should give her since i am also one of her bridesmaids?

If there is no theme for the shower, and no registry, then the gift is your choice. I will assume you know the bride well since you are a bridesmaid so you know her taste. When coosing a bridal shower gift, or any gift for that matter, always think about the recipient and choose something you think she might never go out and buy for herslef, but could be very useful. Those seem to make the best presents. Bridal shower gifts tend to be "home or kitchen" type gifts unless it is a theme type shower such as a lingerie shower.
