I have planned a destination wedding and my fiance and I are paid for the hotel and airfare for our bridal party. My bridal shower is coming very soon and I was unaware about giving the women in our bridal party a gift the day of the shower. Do I have to give them a gift since we paid for their travel expenses and purchased them gifts for the day of the wedding?

Dear Dcmk,
You are very generous to pay for your bridal party's travel expenses, as you are only obligated to pay for their lodging for 2 nights. However, you are obligated to give some sort of "hostess" gift to those hosting your shower. This doesn't have to be an expensive gift. Flowers, candy, or something similar is fine.
